The Extech HDV600 Borescope monitor unit can function with a range of different camera probes to give the user real-time, high definition images from inside hard-to-reach places such as piping, wall cavities and machinery. Images from the attached probe are fed back to the monitor where they can be displayed on screen. The ability to work with any number of different probes makes the borescope easy to upgrade and extremely versatile.

The 5.7” LCD screen on the Extech HDV600 displays the live image from the camera in colour and high definition. It has strong illumination which makes it just as visible in bright sunlight as it is in gloomy indoor spaces. Images can be saved to the 2GB SD card memory which is easily transferrable to a PC, thus permitting further analysis and distribution. Moreover, up to 4 hours of AVI video with audio annotations can be saved, thus picking up intermittent faults or faults that are only obvious during operation.

One of the most important features of the Extech HDV600 is the IP67 ingress protection rating which certifies that the unit is waterproof and shock proof up to a distance of 2m. It is also easy to use in challenging conditions as the push button interface has been specifically designed for operating with either hand and with or without gloves.
