<p>With the Testo 270, you’ll be able to quickly, easily, and accurately check whether your cooking oil is safe for continued use. It works by checking the Total Polar Material (TPM) content in the oil and displays this as a percentage; as oil is used, this percentage increases and higher levels than 24% TPM are considered dangerous, unhealthy, and not safe for continued use.</p>

<p>By using this cooking oil tester, you can both ensure that you aren’t throwing away oil that’s fine too early and can also check that the oil you are using has not passed what is considered to be the danger level.</p>

<h4>Traffic Light Identification System</h4>

<p>Using the Testo 270 is simple – just insert the built-in probe directly into your cooking oil, and the tester will do the rest!</p>

<p>The probe is fully cleanable under running water and is rated to IP65, ensuring you can use it in multiple applications without running the risk of cross-contamination.</p>

<p>When inserted into the cooking oil, the Testo 270 will determine the TPM content and display this as a reading on the LCD display. At the same time, it’ll also change the color of the screen, with the following options possible:</p>
